I just deleted my comment by mistake, so here it is AGAIN!
I think it's fascinating that the ebooks are doing so well! I will admit we've had some months where we've sold A LOT of ebooks on Kindle (well, a lot for us). Summer is slow though...I think it's slow everywhere. It's too bad amazon only pays 35% royalty. We hardly make anything, and the authors are getting only pennies it seems. We don't seem to fit into their 70% royalty range. It'll be interesting to see how it goes now that they've added the UK.
Thanks for the Comment. I agree that the royalty at amazon is really low. However, royalties from ebook sales do provide an additional revenue stream.
Check it out again. I thought we could only get 35% royalty, but we're getting 70%. I don't like Amazon's idea though of letting a person "loan" the ebook to someone else. Seems like you're back to 35% in a way! (Well, you have to think like I do to make that deduction.)
Multiple revenue streams are the order of the day!
